Catalyst Programme (London and Regions)

The Catalyst Programme, funded by the City Bridge Foundation and the National Lottery Community Fund, is a multi-year project designed to develop resilience and influence of the Black and Minoritised Ethnic (BME) sector.

 

We support BME communities through free online and in-person workshops, tailored 121 support, resource sharing and signposting and networking opportunities.

What topics we can assist with:

  • Monitoring, impact and evaluation

  • Fundraising (for example but not limited to, sourcing funding opportunities, reviewing grant applications or a fundraising strategy)

  • Marketing and communications

  • Governance

  • Partnership working

  • Volunteers

  • Membership

  • Sustainability

  • Business continuity plan

  • Other topics that fall within V4CE’s remit – determined on a case-by-case basis

What we are able to provide support with:

✔ Reviewing draft or existing policies, processes, strategies, funding bids

✔ Providing recommendations

✔ Providing templates and resources

✔ Signposting

✔ Delivering workshops (minimum 8-10 attendees)

What we are unable to provide support with:

× Reviewing accounts / providing accounting support

× Building procurement (we have resources to sign-post you to understand more about procurement process)

× Setting up a website

× Legal advice

× Advice on starting a business

× HR policies and procedures

× Writing bids, policies and strategies

× Individual support (V4CE only support groups)

× Other topics or consultation work outside of our remit
